I took some screen shots in story board I was having trouble with the first couple scenes. Everytime I drawed the next scene and copy and pasted the background it would overlap my figures I am trying my hardest with this and I will have to color each scene, I am taking the long way in doing this but least I will learn from it I hope.
Sounds like you're learning a lot already, getting experience is the most important part! Hang in there.
ReplyDeleteYou are a lot braver than I am....I'm still too chicken to attempt. NEXT WEEK ILL BE RIGHT THERE WITH YOU...yikes!
ReplyDeleteStay strong, this is a learning experience for all of us, keep up the great work.
Layers in Storyboard Pro are just like the layers in Photoshop, in the sense that the first layer is on the bottom, last on the top and so forth. They are to the right of your main window but any time you want to paste something down, it won't create a new layer for you like Photoshop would. You have to make a new layer yourself, put it on the bottom and then paste your background onto that layer. I hope that answers your problem but if you ever see me before this is done don't hesitate to ask for more help! :) It's looking good by the way!
ReplyDeletei think everything is looking good so far. you have something going on! Everything is easy to figure out what is going on, but it is so simple right now~ Can't wait to see you coloring them!
ReplyDeleteReally good feedback from your peers! Mandy is correct about the layers. For next week, export a movie file and upload to Vimeo (the screen shots this week are an excellent presentation! The blue window colors are intense!). Check out this artist who loves to sketch in Storyboard Pro: http://deanroberts.blogspot.com/
ReplyDeleteif you change the layout of the timeline at the bottom you can see the make new layer tab and it should at another spot in the program, I dont quite remember, pretty much everything mandy said lol
